CUBO offers teachers road safety education courses dedicated to children attending middle and high schools, to provide practical information on road prevention and to meet specific needs.
CUBO's educational services include three modules on road education:
MOTORISTS
For 16 to 18-year-olds.
Objective: to acquire a greater command of the car.
In-depth study of concepts such as:
- Distribution/balance
- Correct use of the steering wheel and seat belts
- Braking
- Turns
- The importance of keeping your eyes open
- Effects caused by distractions at the wheel
- Effects caused by psycho-physical changes
MOTORCYCLISTS
For 13 to 16-year-olds.
Objective: to acquire greater mastery of the moped or motorcycle, going beyond basic concepts for one’s own safety and that of others.
In-depth study of concepts such as:
- Basic rules (clothing, approved helmet, rules of the road)
- Correct use of the handlebar
- Braking and turning (balance)
- Keeping your eyes open
- Effects caused by driving distractions and psycho-physical changes
PEDESTRIANS and CYCLISTS
For all road users.
Objective: to acquire a greater mastery of the rules to prevent road accidents.
In-depth study of concepts such as:
- Traffic lights, roundabouts and intersections
- Cycle paths
- Urban and suburban roads
- Crossings and pedestrian crossings
- Bus stops and barriers
The lessons will be streamed on the CUBO platform and will include a theoretical part of about an hour and a practical part of the same duration to experiment with what was just learned through the use of the software Riga Dritto e Mettiti in Gioco.
CUBO has signed an agreement with the schools directorate of the Province of Bologna, with road safety courses free for Bologna schools.
