CUBO LIVE – places, ideas, voices, events – is the new travelling series of live shows promoted by CUBO, the Unipol Group Corporate Museum, throughout the country in especially picturesque locations.
Imagine that, faced with the returning illiteracy that many say afflicts Italy, the Ministry of Culture launches a campaign in theatres, entrusted to activists organised in the menacing "Cultural Brigades", with the aim of raising the average level of cabaret actors. A comedian chosen at random from among the most ignorant in classical literature will be publicly tortured on stage in the form of an interrogation-lesson on a fundamental 19th century classic.
The very simple staging exhibits the primary virtues of Dario Vergassola and David Riondino: subject and word, theme and rhythm.
