In recent years we have been witness to a crisis in the complex public sphere, a growing distance between the world of culture and society, only partially offset by the creation of new forms of cultural production and dissemination. The populist revolt against the elites is often associated with a rejection of knowledge, of intellectuals and of experts, and seems to express unease in the face of a complex world full of contradictions. We will go into more detail on this topic during the first event of the series The crisis of the public sphere.
