How big is the universe? What is it made of? Recent discoveries have shown that everything we have studied so far may be less than 5% of what "exists" out there. And…the rest? We have called it "dark matter", "dark energy"... but we do not know what these "substances" are, however their presence is necessary to describe what we observe. And then, how was this universe born? Are there any others? What was there before the Big Bang? So many questions that Astrophysics attempts to answer, in a fascinating journey to the boundaries of our knowledge.
