During the third edition of
das - experimental artistic dialogues, CUBO supported the artistic production of the multifaceted Genoese band
GnuQuartet (Francesca Rapetti, Raffaele Rebaudengo, Roberto Izzo and Stefano Cabrera) presented to the public during Bolognese Artcity White Night.
The unprecedented performance, teetering between classical and experimental sounds gave rise to a re-interpretation of the works of Alessandro Lupi in the exhibition ONE, TOO, FREE. Mirrors, shadows, visions, a completely experimental journey between virtuous cadences and improvisation.
The performance was accompanied by a kinetic work by Alessandro Lupi created precisely for the occasion and presented on the stage of the Unipol Auditorium, whose symbiotic movement with the sound produced by the musicians amazed the audience: a link based on the type of shadow, the resonance that the visual work can have when interpreted by sound, a reflection on the technique and the essence of classical instruments projected onto the screens of modernity and the contemporaneity of art that can evoke different worlds and new visions.
