With the opening to the public of Reflections of Italy, the exhibition curated by Angela Memola and Chiara Argenteri, Spazio Arte of CUBO, the Unipol Group's Corporate Museum , is inaugurated to mark its 50th anniversary. With this project, we have chosen to speak precisely about our Bel Paese through the new generations of artists.
The exhibition plunges head-first into the customs and social behaviour of Italy to see how and where rituals have changed over the last few decades, whether through the influence of globalisation, the encounter/clash with other cultures or the tendency towards individuality.
Painting, photography, installation, the chosen artists - Andy Fluon, Stefano Bolcato, Francesca Catastini, Gianni Cella, Francesco De Molfetta, Emanuele Giuffrida, Marco Lodola, Rachel Morellet, Giuseppe Veneziano - each with different poetics and techniques, touch keys that reactivate our memory and transport us back to a time that feels like 100 years ago, when we played table football and spent Sunday afternoon with the family. Then they bring us back down to earth again, or rather, with our heads inside a computer, face to face with a password.
