This is a teaching space created to help visitors recognise and face the risks that can be taken in everyday life and to reflect on the issues of nutrition and exercise for a healthy lifestyle.
HOME SWEET HOME
This is a game about promptly and correctly resolving the dangers the player will face in their home environment. For each threat faced, the dynamics that generated it are explained to the player and advice is offered on how to prevent it.
AN APPLE A DAY
A game where players must "capture" the wellness items that randomly drop on the screen. After collecting the items, the player receives advice and fun facts about health and well-being.
PARTICIPATORY DIAGRAM
Each participant physically builds a graph that represents his lifestyle: along a wall panel each one answers a series of questions about their habits regarding nutrition and physical activity. The answers rely on a system of wires and rings that attach each answer to a point on the panel and display, at the last answer given, a diagram describing the quality of its author's lifestyle.
TOUCH PYRAMID
An interactive table to learn by playing on three topics: the energy provided by different foods, the difference between aerobic and anaerobic activities, and the ideal frequency for the consumption of various foods. For each theme, 3 game levels earn points to enter the rankings. Each participant raises their awareness by playing to recognise the ideal food pyramid and the habits that determine a healthy lifestyle.
The activities An Apple a Day, Participatory Diagram and Touch Pyramid are part of the educational path TO BE WELL? YOU CHOOSE dedicated to first and second level secondary schools.
