The CUBO Historical Archive was established in 2011 to gather, preserve and enhance the historical memory of the Unipol Group, embodied in a vast documentary heritage. This heritage, that is constantly expanding thanks to ongoing research and documentary retrieval, consists of a range of different materials: documents, prints, photographs, letters, reports, publications, monographs, videos, trophies and any object that might be of interest or significant when engaging in historical reconstructions.
The documentary collection now comprises more than 13,000 archive items, and also includes collections and records from the insurance companies that have merged with the Unipol Group over time. The ongoing digitalisation work carried out by the Archives makes the materials freely available to external visitors , as well as the Group's own employees, at the CUBO's Mediateca (Media Library).
In fact, the Historical Archive and Records sections on the touchscreen tables in the Mediateca provide a number of different paths created by the Archive that make it possible to explore and get to know the entire historical heritage. The documents and physical objects in the Archives can also be viewed and reproduced providing one first obtains permission to do so.
