The course will explore the approach to DJing: an artistic, musical and highly performative discipline. From historical and theoretical outlines, we will move on to practice. How do you set up DJ equipment? How do you use the turntables, cartridges and a mixer? We will refine the practice and then the mixing techniques with programmes such as Serato - Dj Pro. The workshop will end with learning mixing techniques for the creation of mixtapes, so participants can continue the work at home.
