CUBO LIVE – places, ideas, voices, events – is a new travelling series of live shows promoted by CUBO, the Unipol Group's corporate museum, throughout the country in especially picturesque locations.
One of these is the historic 5-star hotel Principi di Piemonte | UNA Esperienze, in the heart of the city of Turin.
Three iconic figures of the Paulista scene explore the Brazilian songbook comprising various times and styles. Like embroidery, they describe the Brazilian lyrical soul where samba's urban and rural universes meet. Thanks to their academic backgrounds, the concert combines pieces by Villa-Lobos, Brazilian waltzes from the early 1900s, old sambas and songs by Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes. An exquisite concert, where the class and skill of pianist Nelson Ayres and multi-instrumentalist Teco Cardoso are there to serve the splendid voice of Monica Salmaso, now one of the best-loved singers in Brazilian popular music.
